Pipe Specialties - Canada is the licensed Canadian Master Distributor for Bondstrand® and Dualoy® fiberglass piping products. We provide design assistance, installation training, spool fabrication & proof-testing, and field services, with a company-wide focus on safety.
For over 35 years Pipe Specialties - Canada has served a diverse marketplace, providing products and services for Marine, Offshore, Fuel Handling, Oil Sands, and Industrial markets. The excellent corrosion and abrasion resistant properties of our products make them ideal for corrosive applications including acids, caustics, seawater, district heating, produced water, process water, flue gas, slurries, and buried fuel handling, among others. The long service life, and ease of installation make these systems a viable cost alternative to metallic piping.

Dualoy LCX Training [ Top ]
Pipe Specialties - Canada held specialty training at OPCA in Toronto this week, in order to cover the proper installation procedures for Dualoy® series 3000/L single & double wall piping systems, along with Dualoy® series 3000/LCX co-axial containment piping systems.
Safety precautions, joint assembly techniques, installation instructions, and testing were also reviewed. Attendees were instructed about service station layout designs, in order to learn the most cost effective use of materials and labour. New techniques for the use of Dualoy® 3000/LCX in the application of remote fills were also covered. Material samples & assemblies were on hand to help aid in the training presentation, along with training videos, and followed by a written test. Successful attendees will receive factory-issued Certificates once tests are graded and sent out, typically 6-8 weeks after a training session.

Pipe Specialties is proud to be selected to kick-off the Mari-Tech 2012 Exhibition Conference through our sponsorship of the Welcoming Reception @ The Bistro, Courtyard Marriott in Ottawa.
The Mari-Tech is a positive learning and networking opportunity for the marine community that has been holding events such as this since 1979. Numerous non-commercial & technical papers were submitted to Mari-Tech, and are being presented on the 9th and 10th of April, amidst the busy exhibition.
